备受关注的育碧恐怖大作《Cold Fear》（极度深寒）昨日又释出一批新图，《Cold Fear》是育碧公司发行的第一款恐怖题材的动作游戏，将在PC/PS2/XBOX各平台上推出，预计将在2005年3月上市！

这款《极度深寒》的幕后制作班底来头不小，他们就是开发电脑知名恐怖游戏《鬼屋魔影》系列的研发团队，《鬼屋魔影》系列自1991年推出以来堪称是所有恐怖游戏的祖师爷，尤其CAPCOM名作《生化危机》系列受到的影响最大。挟着《鬼屋魔影》系列制作团队沉寂四年后重新出发，也让这款《极度深寒》的表现受到玩家期待。

整个游戏故事的设定也是充满危机，在一艘航行在北极海的的俄国货轮上遭遇激烈的暴风雨，使得货轮在惊涛骇浪中几乎快沉没，没想到更恐怖的事情发生了，因为船身激烈摇晃使得一个神秘的货柜翻覆，没想到货柜里竟然装着神秘的病毒，将使感染病毒的人变成狂暴的僵尸。玩家所要扮演的是游戏中唯一幸存者，如何在惊涛骇浪与僵尸追杀的绝命危机中逃出生天。
